Annapurna base camp trekking Itinerary 

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1350 m/4428 ft.

You will be greeted by our official representative at airport and transport to your hotel in Thamel, a tourist place where you could walk through while after having the refresh in the evening to prepare some extra stuff for your trip and buying stuff can be managed, Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Pokhara 850m/2788ft- 7hrs drive.

We take an early morning scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara through the Prithvi highway by tourist bus. Reaching Pokhara we walk around the beautiful tourist town at lakeside areas, Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive Pokhara/Nayapool 1 hrs & trek to Ghandruk (1940m) 4/5 Hrs Walk, overnight at lodge.

After taking breakfast we take a taxi from our hotel to Nayapul about 1-hour drive than few hours trek to Ghandruk which is the Largest Gurung settlement of Annapurna region where we could explore tradition and local lifestyle. Service Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Lodge. 

Day 04: Trek to Chhomrong (2170m)- 5/6 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

Our day starts after cup of tea with mountain breakfast in the morning, today we ascend about an hour to the Ghandruk top and a steep descent to Kimron Khola(River), and climb up to Chhomrong with the outstanding view of Annapurna south, Machhapuchare (Fishtail) Himchuli and Nilgiri on our way to Chhomrong village. We stay overnight here; Chhomrong is a great place to have one more extra day if you have time. It is absolutely an amazing place to observe the Mountain View and experience the local lifestyle; it’s situated on the lap of mighty Annapurna south. 

Day 05Trek to Himalayan Hotel (2920m)- 6/7 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

Today, we have an exciting day to walk through the lush forest over stone steps across Chhomrong Khola and then uphill through the bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Bambo and Doban, we take our lunch somewhere before reaching Himalaya, the trails follow continually upwards Modi river and water streaming section in jungle area, as we reach Himalaya, we set up our sleeping bags and down jacket while resting here because it’s quite a cool place, we stay Overnight at Lodge. 


Day 06: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) via Machhapuchchhre Base Camp (3720m) 5/6 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

After some good breakfast with hot tea than our journey starts towards Machhapuchare base camp than Annapurna base camp, we walk through the narrow gorge Modi Khola glacier valley past the base of Machhapuchhre which ultimately takes us to Annapurna base camp. Walking in this area we will get a good chance to see Annapurna glacier very closed. Making ascend continually towards we see a breathtaking view of surrounding peaks with panoramic mountain view on a backdrop, Reaching Annapurna base camp that we can’t believe it while seeing a 360-degree view from Hiunchuli, past Annapurna South to Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft) and Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare. We spend overnight here at Annapurna base camp. 


Day 07Trek to Bamboo (2,340 m) 6/7 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

Today we enjoy having a mountain breakfast at our lodge with the stunning sunrise view over the top of the Himalaya, after having some snap and pictures at base camp. Eventually, we trek down to Bamboo following the same trekking trail. We stay overnight at Bambo.

Day 08: Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring) (1755m) 5/6 hrs walk, Overnight at lodge.

After breakfast at Bambo, we trek to Chomrung following the same trekking path as we followed that while trekking up to Base Camp before. Walkthrough the jungle while climbing up and down valley crossing the beautiful Gurung village of Sinuw, eventually going down from Sinuwa to River than we cross the suspension bridge and start to climb up after finishing our climbing few steps that we take a lunch break at Chhomrong village with sensational Mountain View of Annapurna south and Machhapuchare again. After lunch then we continue descending to Jhinu's dada and we walk 30 minutes down to Hot spring place and come back to our hotel at Jinu dada and spend overnight there with good meals. 

Day 09: Trek to Nayapul (1050m/) 4/ 5 hrs walk and 1 hrs Drive to Pokhara (820m), overnight at hotel.

Today is eventually our last day of trekking, it’s a short trek down to Nayapool and we take our taxi to Pokhara, spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu (1400m) by tourist bus. 7/8 hrs

After having our breakfast at the hotel then our driver will drop us at the tourist bus station and we take a tourist bus to Kathmandu including WIFI, battery recharge spot, and drinking water services in the bus and we stop for few times for toilet and lunch on the way to Kathmandu. Reaching Kathmandu we take a good rest and have refresh than time to go to celebrate our successfully completed 8 days Annapurna base camp with the group while having our farewell dinner at the nice restaurant at Thamel.

Accommodation during the Trek

Accommodation during the trek, basically room is very basic where you will get the room with pillows, warm and nice blanket, attach bathroom if it’s available with comfortable beds during the 10 days Annapurna base camp trek, if you are single you get the single bedroom as well with hygienic food, The Menu for food and accommodation have fixed by local management community

What Kind of Food to expect During The Trek
